In 1945, a company in St. Louis invented the first wrapped rail, roll-top bottle cooler. By 1948, True Refrigeration had landed a contract with the 7Up company, and a major manufacturer was born. Initially focusing on excellent beverage coolers, the company received its first international contracts in 1954. In 1966, True Refrigeration developed a flat top bottle cooler. The design is still in use today. After 70 years, True still produces excellent commercial refrigeration products, including reach-ins, food prep stations, worktops, milk coolers and a wide variety of merchandizers. In recent years, the O’Fallon, Missouri-based company has focused on sustainability and environmental impact, pioneering natural hydrocarbon refrigerants and energy efficient products.
