For more than 80 years, Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania-based InterMetro has created innovative shelving, storage, and transport solutions for commercial and institutional kitchens. In the 1950s and 1960s, InterMetro was an industry leader in wire-based shelving systems. In the 1990s, they premiered a line of heated cabinets, and in the 2000s they began adding anti-microbial protection to many of their products. Today, InterMetro’s products include shelving, racks, carts, and heated cabinets. Many of their shelves employ polymer technology to create strong, stable, durable and lightweight configurations for commercial kitchens.
