Cleveland Range, now a powerhouse manufacturer of steam cooking equipment, began in 1847 as a retail store in Cleveland, Ohio, manufacturing its own "French Steel Ranges." It now continues production of braising pans, tilt skilits, steam jacketed kettles, cook chill stystems, and convection steamers under the aegis of Manitowoc Foodservice, which acquired it 2005. Cleveland's steamers are Energy Star compliant and the company has been awareded 'Partner of the Year' 6 consecutive times by the organization, a true testament to the company's dedication to environmental consciousness as well as lasting equipment.
