Blakeslee embodies the legacy of George S. Blakeslee, who began designing the first mechanical dish washing machine in 1880 and began production of it in 1895. Continuing unprecedented innovation, George introduced the first flight-type dishwasher in the early 20th century. Ever since, Bakeslee has continued to be family-owned and dedicated to the propogation of discerning engineering solutions in dishwasher manufacturing.
