Corporate History
Harry Traulsen Senior founded the family business in 1938 in Queens, New York. He began as a producer of bakery fixtures, such as display cases. During World War II, he began manufacturing small portable refrigeration units used by the American armed services in the European and Pacific theaters. After the war, he began further research and testing of advanced refrigeration technologies. Eventually, Harry grew the business throughout the decades following World War II. Today, Traulsen has manufacturing facilities and offices in four states: New York, Texas, Illinois and California. All products are manufactured in the United States.Types of General Products and Parts

The G-Series of refrigerators provide you with fully-configurable units. You can find one of these quality units to fit just about every budget. For example, the Glass Door Merchandising Freezers are not only reliable but provide a terrific way to display your products. LED lights are built into the door, illuminating your products without adding heat to the interior that could strain the freezing units. The three-panel doors minimize frost, keeping your products clearly visible.Wine Coolers
Traulsen uses only the best and latest technology to keep your stock of wines at the perfect temperature. The dual temperature units allow you to maintain your red and white wines at the correct temperatures in the same cabinet. These coolers have temperature calibrations set for fine wines at between 53-57 degrees Fahrenheit. The standard cabinets store up to 75 bottles. Replacement shelf bottoms are available.R&A Series
These workhorse units give you the flexibility you require to fit whatever kitchen layout you may have. Fully configurable, the top-mounted system makes them very easy to clean as this ensures that less kitchen dirt and debris get trapped inside. The R&A series have stainless-steel interiors and exteriors.Specialty Units
Traulsen offers a line of specialty products for any kitchen that might need something beyond the standard refrigeration models or related equipment.Dual Temperature Cabinets

Traulsen manufactures a line of extra-wide, 32-inch refrigerators and freezers. The company has reach-in models that are great for aging meat properly. All units have microprocessor controls and stainless-steel exteriors. The one-piece sides help protect against dirt build-up. The air ducts on the rear, at the top of the units, help maximize product and equipment life.Under-Counter Refrigerators
These full-size refrigerators allow you to use all the space in your kitchen to maximize your operational efficiency. Available in three sizes — 44”, 72”, or 100” — you can also find several different drawer and door styles. The front and side panels remove easily for cleaning.
